My Hostess Gift Guide…

Holiday party season is in full swing. Social calendars are overflowing with dinners, cookie exchanges, potlucks and everything in between. It is important that we don’t get too swept up into the hustle and bustle of the season that we forget to show our appreciation for the hostess with the mostess. A sweet, thoughtful hostess gift is the perfect way to thank someone for their hospitality. The gesture of a gracious guest is never forgotten. Below are a few of my favorite hostess treats.

Wine Glass Writers : Set of three, festive colored (silver, gold & emerald) markers that wash off with soap and water. Perfect for keeping tabs on your wine glass at a party. Works on mirrors, too.

Pseudonym Terrific Candle by Ellis : Candles are one of my favorite hostess gifts to give. This also happens to be one of my favorite candles. I usually stockpile a few so that I’m prepared for the last minute invite. You really can never go wrong with a candle. This candle is heavenly scented with a blend of fig, jasmine blossoms, pepper and sandalwood.

Cusinart Hot Air Popcorn Maker : Mabel and I are popcorn junkies and we Love this popcorn maker. It’s so easy to use, mess free and its such a healthy way to make popcorn without having to use oil! I think your host would really like this.

Wooden Cheese Markers : I love having a cheese plate set out for my guests when they arrive. Any hostess will appreciate this entertainer’s must-have.

The New Yorker Jigsaw Puzzle : Jigsaw puzzles just remind me of the holiday season. Every Christmas my mom and I would set up a puzzle station and work on it throughout the season. Who wouldn’t and a appreciate a good Jigsaw Puzzle!?

The gesture of a gracious guest is never forgotten...

Heritage Glass JarMabel is really into baking cookies so this will be a gift we’ll be taking to our friends this holiday season. So for those who like to give baked goodies as gifts, the heritage glass jar is a nice way to up the anty by sending your treats along in a beautiful container.

Hot Chocolate Maker : You will have them dreaming of sugarplums after gifting your favorite hostess this cozy beverage maker (makes lattes, too!!). A pretty great winter time gift. You can throw some of these initialed mugs to go along with it!

Wine Bags : There is no such thing as a boring bottle of wine, especially when you dress it up with one of these unique wine bags.

Cozy Textured ThrowTis the season for blankets and throws. I’m a sucker for a monogram and you can monogram this baby for an added level of chic.

Aesop Cepheus Gift Set : I Love a good gift set. One because someone else does the thinking for you and two what’s not to love with a bevy of lotions, potions and body washes?!?

I’m always on the lookout for a good hostess gift. Do you have any go-to hostess gifts? What is your favorite item to bring to a holiday party?

Great ideas, Emma! I am always stumped on what to bring the hostess for a gift. We usually bring a nice bottle of wine as our go-to-gift. I love the wine glass markers and the candles…I may have to stock up for the next two weeks. Any ideas on what to bring a little hostess? You always have such great ideas! My five year old is invited to a cookie decorating party at a friend’s house with all the other little ones in her pre-K class…can you imagine the mess they will make?! It isn’t a party for the little girl, but it is almost like she is the hostess and I didn’t want to go empty handed.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! I’m off to record GMA while getting the kids ready for school so I can watch Bruce and Laurie’s interview! You must be so proud!
