Room to Grow’s Spring Benefit

I can’t believe a year has passed and we are already less than two weeks away from Room to Grow’s (RtG) spring benefit in NYC! Last year I had the great privilege of being honorary chair for RtG’s annual spring event . That same year, RtG appointed me an ambassador to their organization. It’s a position I take very seriously as it’s become a charity near and dear to my heart. RtG is dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development.

This year I’m thrilled to be passing on the torch to a dear friend of mine and Bruce’s, Mary-Louise Parker. I’ll be co-chairing this year’s event alongside Glynis Ford and Erica Bearman and we are working with a fierce group of women to put on a wonderful evening to celebrate the milestones of Room to Grow’s remarkable families.

If you remember, last year Bruce and I auctioned off a date night with us to see Sting and Peter Gabriel at Madison Square Garden. This year, Bruce and I have a few fun items up for grabs. But the one I’m most excited about is we are auctioning off our home in Turks and Caicos. So, if you want in on that action there is still time for you to buy a ticket and get to the event as this item will go live on April 5^thalong with all the other wonderful auction items. I have a few I have my eye on like a signed Norman Jean Roy print!

While we were away for spring break, the girls and I organized our annual RtG ice pop and lemonade stand . I love getting the kids involved with the organization whenever I can. The best thing about this, was it obviously attracted other kids to their cute Lemonade stand and some of them decided they wanted to get in on the action. It was fun and it always turns out to be a highlight of our break.
