Summer is in full swing and hands down I have to say, it’s been a really great one so far. So wonderfully great that this mommy has eased up the reigns a bit on our usual healthier eating habits. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like to deprive my children of sweets, because I believe everything in moderation. But in saying that, my moderation meter may be slightly prejudiced toward frozen sweet treats this time of year! We are in sunny California after all, and these fun warm days just beg for some good ole ice cream every now and again.
When Evelyn was eating pureed food I loved using this food processor called The Baby Cook. It was quick, simple and we sure got our money’s worth out it. It steams and purees all in one with the push of a button. There was also a great cookbook offered along with some exciting puree options. It was especially helpful when I hit a wall trying to come up with different ideas.
“Mama, I want a snack!” It’s the sentence I hear about 5 times (or more) during the course of the day. It gets my wheels turning every time. If I didn’t care less what my daughter put inside her body this would be a no brainer. But I do care as I’m sure we all do to a certain degree.
