Tinted Moisturizer…

When it comes to my relationship with make-up, less has always been more for me. I haven’t jumped on this trend of wearing heavy foundations and then to top it off, contouring. Truth be told, I have no clue how to do it. Trust me though, there are times I wish I could just dunk my face right into a tub of foundation—it would do this mama good. But in my everyday life of being a mom, running around town doing errands or meetings, I just need a little coverage and it needs to be quick and not drawn out.

Lately, I’ve been adding more tinted moisturizers into my make-up routine. I wrote a post a few months back talking about my favorite must-have make-up products that get me out the door fast and looking decent. If I had to choose just two make-up products that I couldn’t live without, it would be my concealer and cream blush . Thankfully I don’t have to and now I think I can’t live without my tinted moisturizer!

I’ve started using tinted moisturizers for a few reasons. It gives me a little extra coverage without being noticeable, it goes on very easy, and I love the SPF factor. I need to preserve this skin as long as possible!

Here are a few that I’ve been using and really like:

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint I just started using this and it’s really become a fast favorite. I have combination skin, so with summer around the corner, a matte finish is going to be best for me. It goes on smooth and easy without having to blend in too much. This has SPF 30.

Lately, I’ve been adding more tinted moisturizers into my make-up routine...

Nars Pure Radiant If you run on the drier side, this one is for you. It’s an oil-free formula that hydrates the skin and gives a “radiant” appearance without being heavy. I used this one in the winter months because I needed the extra moisture and it gave me a nice glow. This has SPF 30.

Honest Everything Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free  Even though it’s oil-free, this one still feels a little on the oilier side to me. It’s also a little thicker. If that doesn’t bother you, what I like about it is the coverage. I really felt it stayed on most the day. This has SPF 20. If you want to try the  regular formula here it is .

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer If you really want to brighten your skin, I highly suggest this one. On those days I feel like my skin is looking dull, this product really says what it’s going to do. It will illuminate your skin and not in a glittery kind of way. I can’t stand glitter. It goes on light and blends in like butter.

Cle de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation This was the very first tinted moisturizer I have ever used. I know it says foundation and it could very well be but it’s So light. When I was looking for something sheer, I was told to buy this. I’m a huge fan of their concealer, as you know. Just know that Cle de Peau products are simply beautiful as I know their price tag could scare you off.

Is there a tinted moisturizer you love? Any good drugstore finds?

Need to try the Cle De Peau. Have been loving the Bare Minerals tinted gel moisturizer so much. Super light/natural but still helps with dry winter skin. Highly recommend.

I’ve always wanted to try Bare Minerals. So I will now! Thanks xx
But Cle De Peau is my saving grace. You can go heavier or lighter as needed. Plus it lasts so long which is great seeing the price

I love Suntegrity. It’s a Zinc based suncare line. My three year old loves applying their sport stick. The scent is divine. They offer two face tint options: sheer and full coverage.
