Valentine’s Day School Card Exchange …

Valentine’s Day is still such a sweet holiday, and especially for my young kids. It’s so innocent, and inclusive, I’m just loving all their budding friendships.

This year, our school is doing an optional card exchange and you know we are all about it! I was in Target the other day (my happy place) and came across these adorable cardboard hearts and knew we had to do something with them! So, here’s a fun idea you too might enjoy.

Using your construction paper, print out my template and cut them out:  Valentine Template

Using Mod Podge, glue your cut out to your cardboard heart. I brushed the glue on top of the cut out as I found the edges weren’t sticking down as well as I would like.

At the top of the humps of the heart, using your hole punch, punch out two holes.

Thread your friendship bracelet through and make a knot to secure it.

Then Mabel added her finishing touches to address each card ❤️

Here’s another Valentine’s Day card option we’ve created in the past.
