I’ve been feeling some trepidation about steppin I’ve been feeling some trepidation about stepping out to promote this book. Public speaking and being forward-facing don’t come naturally to me.
I know it might not seem that way, but the truth is, this is me stepping way out of my comfort zone. Still, when you care deeply about something - when you know your story, tools, lived experience, and the lessons you’ve learned might help someone else, you speak up.
Because the causes I care about are bigger than me. And the call to support others is louder than my fear.
This book isn’t just mine, it’s for all of us walking this road.
The Unexpected Journey is coming September 9th, (link in bio) and I can’t wait to share more with you. 💙

Meet the Village 💙 This week on the blog, my de Meet the Village 💙 This week on the blog, my dear friend and writing partner Michele Bender shares something powerful for caregivers: how just seven minutes of writing can ease stress, lift your mood, and help you feel a little more grounded.
While working on The Unexpected Journey, @mbender878 helped me find my voice even on the days I felt stuck. Some of the best breakthroughs came when I gave myself permission to pause, reflect, and write freely. That’s exactly what she’s offering you in this post.
You don’t need fancy tools or lots of time - just a pen, some paper, and a few quiet minutes for yourself.
