When Evelyn was eating pureed food I loved using this food processor called The Baby Cook. It was quick, simple and we sure got our money’s worth out it. It steams and purees all in one with the push of a button. There was also a great cookbook offered along with some exciting puree options. It was especially helpful when I hit a wall trying to come up with different ideas.

Crafting Made Easy…

I’ve been known to do a craft or two at home with the kids. I’m not patting myself on the back because lets be honest, the ideas don’t flow through me magically. What naturally flows through me is paper and crayons craftiness. So I reference Pinterest for ideas, a lot. International Babywearing Week…

I stopped breastfeeding Evelyn when she was 3.5 months. So I’ve had to find other ways to get my up close and personal time in with her especially now since she is on the move. Having breastfed Mabel till over the age of two and co-sleeping with her, I really got my fair share of that precious cuddle time in. That wasn’t the route I was able to take with my second so I started to get serious about babywearing.

Happy Mother’s Day…

Prior to having children of my own I thought motherhood would come pretty easy for me. Hahaha, sucker! I’ve learned and experienced some hard truths since having young kids. There’s no such thing as sleeping in anymore. There’s no such thing as having a private moment in the bathroom. I’ve been pooped, peeed and vomited on. I’ve learned and have got pretty good with negotiating and what bribing is all about too. And that’s just some basic examples.
