When Room to Grow asked me to be their Honorary Chair for their upcoming spring event I was incredibly touched. When they asked me to be the Ambassador for their organization, I was ready. Ready because I love that Room to Grow has the capability to help 400 babies a year in New York City, as they dedicate themselves to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Their mission is to enrich the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development.
The other day, my Huffington Post blog went live. I’ve really been trying to take advantage of any chance I get to promote this great organization and this was yet another way for me to get the word out there. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I loved writing it.

Room to Grow’s spring benefit is a week away—April 14th in NYC. I have seen first-hand at how much time and effort goes in to putting a fundraiser of this magnitude together. It’s heartwarming to see everyone band together for one sole purpose and I’m so honored that I was able to tag along on this journey.
